Hi!

 

I'm Emma Wright, the founder and creator of Liberty Performing Arts.  Having spent almost my whole life dedicated to performing arts, both on and off stage, it is clear that this is my passion.  Ever since my Mum took me to my first dance lesson at the age of 3 back in my hometown of Aberdeen, I have never looked back.

At 17 years old I moved to London to train at the prestigious and world renowned Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and then went onto Stella Mann Dance College where I completed my ISTD teacher qualifications.

Upon completing my training I went on to spend several years performing on a variety of stages around the world, from cruise ships to national theatres.

 

I then decided it was time to put away the suitcase and sequin feathers in favour of a teaching career.  I completed a BA (Hons) in Dance in Education and gained my Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as a secondary school teacher.  I spent a number of years teaching at various different schools and colleges including Italia Conti, Theatretrain and Mandy Ellen (Britains Got Talent contestants). 

 

However it is now time to go it alone and use all the experience I have gained over the years to create my own dream school - Liberty - where everyone has the freedom to express!
